What’s the number one thing people tell you when you say you want a job in study abroad and international education?

"Go get a master’s degree.”

Yep. That’s what I always heard (and still hear to this day).

I’ve worked with countless aspiring international educators and global pros advising them on how to break into the field and build a career and global life they love. Having gone through my own master’s program search, completing my own degree, and then advising emerging professionals on this very question, I’ve learned a thing or two about what makes a great program and what you need to get ahead.

A few years ago I wrote a blog post outlining a few programs I thought would be a good fit for most of the people I was coaching. That post has since gone viral and global in the international education sphere. But it’s been a few years, it's a little out of date, and it was time for an update.

But I didn’t want to just put together another blog post. I wanted to go bigger and more comprehensive with this project. So with the help of some amazing interns, we’ve spent the last several months researching and writing up our top grad programs for a career in international education.

I’ve had an incredible career in international education and I definitely credit my grad school program and experience to helping me get where I am today. Now I pass on that knowledge and experience to you. With over 500 hours of research, hustle, and hard work, we’ve created this 124-page grad school guide to help you figure out which program is right for you.
